Lawyer–client confidentiality

Your firm is bound by professional secrecy. Under § 43e BRAO, service providers who may gain insight into client secrets must be bound to confidentiality. Hosting, data storage and knowledge search are in Germany; the AI language model, speech recognition and speech output partly run at providers outside the EU, including the USA. Recording and WhatsApp are off by default for law firms. Whether Marco is suitable for your firm is something we discuss with you before going live. Please also have it checked by your bar association or a data protection adviser.
